LAPTOP PROGRAM

We are discontinuing our BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) for 2026 and beyond. This will be replaced with a hire program where families will hire a laptop through the school for their student for $200 per year rather than needing to supply their own.

This initiative will help us further strengthen internet safety at school while ensuring all students have the same laptop with appropriate specifications to access all required programs. Laptops will be allocated to students at the beginning of the year along with a laptop bag for storage. Students will be able to take devices to and from school and connect to home internet as required for homework.

Other year levels will also be able to access this hire service, with no new personal devices in Years 8–12 being connected after the end of Term 1, 2026. Beyond this, we will be moving towards all students using school-owned devices under a hire arrangement.
